About me

I studied Industrial Automation, and graduated from Ahuntsic College, Montreal, Canada, in 1986.

I worked as maintenance technician for some years, before moving on to designing industrial automation systems.

Over the last 20 years, I've been privileged to subcontract for EPLAN Software & Services, in Canada, the USA, and also EPLAN HQ in Germany. 

I've been trained in various aspects of the EPLAN platform, aspects that most users will typically never learn as part of the standard EPLAN training classes. I learned API programming, ERP and PDM Integration, deep customizing, and much more. I think I can say that outside EPLAN, I'm one of a dozen individuals in the Americas with this level of knowledge of the platform.
